September 22, 2021 // Superintendent's Update

Dear Community Members,

To formalize and help guide the process of selecting which capital projects to recommend and the timing, I am announcing the creation of the Superintendent’s Capital Planning Task Force. Over the course of three meetings in October, though more may be added later if necessary, the Task Force will assist in the preparation of the capital project plans for the Sudbury Public Schools. These plans will be presented to the School Committee and then to the Finance Committee and other town boards for their review over the course of this winter’s budgeting cycle.

Community members with professional experience in construction, property management, or other related fields are encouraged to apply for a role on the Task Force. To apply, please submit the attached application to my Executive Assistant, Justin Dulak, at justin_dulak@sudbury.k12.ma.us, by the close of business on Monday, October 4, 2021. I will then notify the most qualified candidates of their selection to the Task Force later that week. Applicants should take note that the Task Force is scheduled to meet on October 12th, 19th, and 26th at 2:00 PM. All meetings will take place in the Sudbury Police Station Community Room, located at 75 Hudson Road in Sudbury, and in-person attendance is expected of all Task Force members.

Sincerely,

Brad J. Crozier

Superintendent
