Mr. Bryant Amitrano - Principal
Bryant Amitrano joins as the next principal of Haynes Elementary School. Prior to joining Haynes, Bryant was the Interim Principal at Merriam Elementary School in Acton, MA as well as the Assistant Principal at Merriam for several years before. Prior to working in Acton, Bryant was an Interim Assistant Principal at the Healey School in Somerville, MA, where he was also a fifth and sixth grade teacher. Bryant's passion as an educator is to create equitable experiences for students to engage in hands-on learning opportunities where students use interdisciplinary practices and work collaboratively in order to achieve their learning goals.
Bryant lives locally in Maynard with his wife Libby and four children, Gigi, Weston, Pratt, and Welles. Bryant enjoys being active with his four children and continues to play golf and lacrosse himself. Bryant received his CAGS in School Administration from American International College, a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis College, and his Bachelor's from Bryant University. While at Bryant University, Mr. Amitrano was the captain of the Division I Men's Lacrosse Team.

Lisa Williams, Assistant Principal
Lisa Williams joins us as the Assistant Principal for the Haynes and Nixon Elementary Schools. Ms. Lisa Williams is a passionate educator coming from the Lexington Public Schools where she has served as a K-5 teacher for 28 years and Assistant Principal for three years. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked with students with diverse learning profiles across all grade levels. Her background includes collaboration with district leaders to implement and directly support two of the special education programs for students with Autism and students with Language-Based Learning disabilities. Her most recent work in Lexington has focused on leading or co-leading her school-based Equity Team, the ELL Mentor Program, and developing school-wide projects to support the METCO program.
Ms. Williams holds her B.S. in Elementary Education from Framingham State College, M.Ed. in Computers in Education from Lesley College, and is a graduate of the MSAA Leadership Licensure Program with Teachers21. On a personal note, Ms. Williams is a Sudbury resident and proud mother of two young adult children. She is an avid runner and loves being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is very excited to join the Haynes and Nixon School communities as the Assistant Principal
