Ms. Sarafconn

Ms. Sarafconn studied at Framingham State University’s Graduate School of Education and received a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. She has been working in Sudbury since 2015-2016. She works with students at Curtis and Haynes.  In her free time, Ms. Sarafconn loves to dance, sew, read, and watch Asian dramas with subtitles. She also loves to study languages. She has studied Spanish, Guaraní, Portuguese, French, and little bits of several others. This year, Ms. Sarafconn is studying Korean. It’s really hard. When she looks at a page of Korean text she has to take a deep breath before she tries to read it. Struggling with new languages helps her to remember what it’s like to learn a language and helps her to teach her students English.
