    School bus registration closed on

    May 9, 2022

Registrations and payments received after May 9 are subject to availability and ALL registrations will incur a late fee of $75.  If you are required to pay for transportation, the individual cost will be $495, and the family cap will be $840.

If you are not required to pay for transportation and register after May 9, 2022, you must still pay the $75 late fee.

If you have already registered and paid, thank you.

Incoming K-6 students, living two or more miles from their districted schools are eligible to receive no-fee transportation. Incoming K-6 students living less than two miles from their districted schools are eligible for fee-based transportation, based on space availability.

ALL INCOMING 7th AND 8th GRADE STUDENTS WHO INTEND ON RIDING THE SCHOOL BUS MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION REGARDLESS OF DISTANCE TO SCHOOL

    Annual School Bus Fees:

    • Individual fee - $420.00
    • Family fee (multiple students) - $765.00
    • Late registration fee - $75.00

School bus fees were increased for the 2022-2023 school year based on the increases in the new school bus contract.  This marks the first increase since 2011 and could not be avoided.

  • How to Register:

School bus registration is done through MySchoolBucks by clicking the banner above. If you have not already created an account on MySchoolBucks for school lunch, you will need to do so to register for transportation.  MySchoolBucks ID for registration can be found in Aspen under the Family/Demographics tab. Transportation fees can be paid online through MySchoolBucks with a credit or debit card.  MySchoolBucks charges a processing fee of 4.95% assessed at check-out and is noted in the Program Fee line. To avoid the processing fee, you must still register thru MySchoolBucks, choose ‘Mail Check’ under Payment Options at registration, and mail a check payable to "Town of Sudbury" to:

    SPS Transportation Department
    40 Fairbank Road
    Sudbury, MA 01776

We also have a drop-box outside of our offices at 40 Fairbank Road.  Envelopes/payments must be postmarked or dropped off by May 9, 2022 in order to avoid a late fee.

Bus routes and bus stops are based on registrations and payments received by the deadline.  Late registration is subject to space availability regardless of no-fee or fee-based status.

If you need help creating an account in MySchoolBucks, please see their Support Page.
