Each Curriculum Guide contains a list of learning outcomes by subject area that will be addressed during the school year. They are not intended to be absolutely complete. The Sudbury Public Schools has many expectations for its students that cannot easily be captured in a list of learning outcomes. Also, learning opportunities arise during any school year that extend children’s curiosity and thinking beyond what is predictable. Teachers are further prepared to differentiate instruction to appropriately meet the needs of individual students. The purpose of this Curriculum Guide is to inform each family as to the core material to which their child will be exposed.
