The Safe and Drug Free Schools Grant is a federally funded program that supports local school and community programs to carry out a comprehensive violence and substance abuse prevention program. The involvement of schools, families and the community are necessary in order for these programs to be successful. In our schools, safe and drug free learning environment supports academic achievement. Programs and activities supported by this grant are intended to prevent and reduce violence as well as the use, possession and distribution of illegal drugs. Currently in our schools, prevention curriculums are funded by this grant program. If you have any questions, please contact Betsy Grams Safe and Drug Free Schools Coordinator at 978-443-1085 x1110
